Address: 2953 West Broadway (at Bayswater), Vancouver

Phone: (604) 739-0079

Neighborhood: In Kitsilano

Hours: 6:30am - 10:00pm most days

Power Outlets: Underneath the OPEN sign is an extra outlet you can use (and often people do). Another, less convenient one is in the back on the right, around a partitioned wall - you can sit on the table in front of the wall, as long as you pull the cord around the corner. Last one is as you walk in the door, straight ahead, by the entryway that the staff walk out of. There is a table closeby, but staff may have to walk over your cord.

Calendar:

Serves: Coffee, tea, matcha, cold drinks, muffins, breads, and other coffee fare. Notes and Reviews: Nov. 4, 2006: I love this place! Spend lots of time here. I don't even know if they have free wifi here officially, but there are lots of local connections to choose from at any given time. Posting from inside the store now.

Reviews:Blenz on broadway & Bayswater is a very nice place to have coffee... employees are kind and the store is always clean. Only thing is there are too many people taking advantage of the free wifi without even ordering or having a drink or food on the table while surfing the net. Make it harder for PAYING customers to have a seat. I can't blame it on the staff because they can't kick people out...because they always go im gonna order later and then of course leave without ordering. But other than that this place is totally cool

Sept. 12, 2007 @ 10 pm - I've been here many times, but I think this will be the last time I come here to study. Of course I do understand it is a cafe and not a library, but if you need to work on homework, etc. I would not recommend this location. The coffee is standard for a Blenz, Kim the barrista is a cool older dude who is friendly. The wifi is so-so, some days its super fast but other times, like tonight, its bogged down. People tend to talk really loud in here, so you definatey won't be able to concentrate. Peace!

Blenz is alright. Depending on the barista, the coffee is hit or miss. The floppy haired young blonde dude, the young dark-haired dude with glasses, both make CRAPPY, burnt, undrinkable lattes. Horrible! The older Japanese dude makes a tasty cup. If the other baristas are there, then I'll just order a black coffee and not a latte. Good wifi, decent atmosphere, make it a decent place that is open until 11pm, but just be sure you know what it is and isn't. It is just a Blenz.

As Jango mentioned, depending on the barista, the coffee is either good or bad. The young asian guy who works in the sunday afternoon and night makes the best latte and mocha, and the store is usually clean when he works. Other times, usually in the weekdays, people who work there does not take care of the store properly, and totally missed the drink. Blenz on west broadway has their own wi-fi since rennovation in 2007. It's a decent place to study, good atomosphere, but it's not a library!!

I've been to blenz for a month already. I go there to study once every few days. I spend almost $10 everytime I go there. The only reason I would go is because it's a good place to study and I don't want to just order a coffee and stay there for few hours. I do not recommend the store if you want to have a nice java cup during your day. Although Blenz has nice potentials on their drinks, the employees are slow and not motivated. The tables are always packed with empty cups while employees are shouting in the back. Everytime the dark chocalate mocha taste different, mostly lean towards the bad side, and once it was way too off that I could not drink it. The blenz on granville and robson has very bad baristas as well. A brown guy on granville and robson made me a dark mocha with already flushed espresso.
